FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do I get to keep the sign?

No. We are a rental service.

What areas do you service?

We serve Slidell, Pearl River & Lacombe, Louisiana. Visit www.signgypsies.com to find a location near you if you do not live in these areas.

When are the signs set up?

We deliver the afternoon/evening the day BEFORE your event. We can accommodate requests for specific delivery times for a $20 fee, given availability.

How much does it cost to rent a sign?

We offer multiple packages to fit most any budget. You can view our pricing information here. 

Do you take last minute orders?

If we have available personnel and inventory, we can! A rush fee of $25-$40 will be added to orders received within 24 hours of delivery. 

How long does the sign stay in my yard?

Our rental period is for 24-36 hours; you may add additional days for $35 (excluding graduation). If you need the sign taken down EARLIER than 24 hours, please do not take it down yourself! Contact us and we will remove it ASAP.

Do I need to be home when you set up or take down the sign?

No! You simply place the order with us, pay your invoice, and we handle the rest! We will install your greeting quickly and quietly in the best location for visibility and installation purposes.

What if it rains, or we have severe weather? Are the signs waterproof?

Our signs can handle the rain! We will even install your rental display while it is raining, as long as there is no lightning! Should severe weather conditions arise that would threaten the safety of our personnel or inventory, we will cancel orders. We are happy to reschedule your order, or we will issue a full refund.

Can I set up or take down the sign myself?

No, only trained Sign Gypsies Slidell personnel are authorized to handle our inventory. This ensures you receive a professional installation that is a true reflection of our brand standards. Take-downs must be handled in the same manner to avoid damage to the signs. 

 

How early should I order?

Our calendar fills quickly, so we recommend getting on our schedule at least 3-4 weeks before your event. The month of May/graduation season is our busiest time, and we will sell out for many dates (especially the first week of May!). Place your graduation orders ASAP.

 

What if I need more than one name? Can I combine a set up for more than one person?

Yes! Just tell us each person’s name, interests, and color preferences when filling out the order form. Extra names are $10 for any selected package.
